The Indian EPD® Programme offers the possibility to complement a full declaration with a "single-issue EPD®", focusing on only one environmental aspect of the product's life cycle. The most popular such single-issue EPD® is a Climate Declaration, which declares only the carbon footprint of the product, while referring to the EPD® for more information./p>

A single-issue EPD®, such as a Climate Declarations, can only be published if a full EPD® is registered or if the same information as contained in an EPD® declaration (created according to the General Programme Instructions) is available on request. Information on where to find additional information shall be included in the single-issue EPD®.

For organisations registering an EPD with the Indain EPD® Programme there is no additional charge for creating a corresponding Climate Declaration.
